How paid rankings stay honest
Paid changes only count when the money and the displayed position agree.
Checkout is not confirmation
Returning from checkout does not change a rank. Dodo Payments sends a signed payment event to the server, and only that verified event can confirm the bid.
This prevents a copied success URL, an abandoned checkout, or a client-side request from changing the public board.
Every payment is applied once
The database records the pending bid before checkout. When payment succeeds, one atomic operation confirms the payment and updates the matching profile.
Repeated webhook deliveries are safe. The same payment can be acknowledged again without creating another bid or increasing the amount twice.
